Halloween fun....

For Halloween weekend, the first thing we did was
go to a haunted forest. It was advertised
and it was free. My kids were very excited...
Cody was very scared... Haha

This was the creepiest thing there.
A girl, dressed in a wedding dress, with her
hair straight over her face. She would walk up
behind you and just stand there. When you
turned around, it would FREAK you out.
She was in the waiting area.
Creepy!

Ashley, our zombie bride.

Jordan, our rock star.

And Cody, our Mario.

We went to our ward's trunk or treat on Saturday night.
I forgot to take pictures, except this one
of Cody digging into his candy.

Then we went trick or treating, Monday night.
Cody was SO happy....to say the least.
Look at that face.

Ashley with her friend, Bri.

The group, trick or treating.
So happy!

It was another fun Halloween.
We sure love our kiddos.

Happy Birthday to TWINS!

See these two cute faces? They had a Birthday!
Our twins, Ashley and Jordan turned the big 10 today.
I can't believe how big they are getting....
And cute... :)

First thing Ashley wanted was to get her ears pierced (again).
We had them done when she was 8, but they got closed up,
and she has been dying to get them done again ever since.
She is one happy girl now.

We give our kids a choice to have a party or invite one or two friends
to go do something fun together.
Every year they choose to take a friend.
This year, Ashley chose her good friend, and she wanted
to go to Jump Time. Wall to wall trampolines, bounce houses,
foam pit, dodge ball. All sorts of fun.
She loved it.....as you can see.

Happy at Jump Time

One thing Ashley always loves to do is put on make-up.
Personally, I think she is cuter without it.....
But she loves it.
So that was next....
Home to blast music and put on make-up.

Ashley wanted me to surprise her with decorating her cake.
She is our flip flop girl (just like me)....
She wears flip flops everywhere, and
even begs to wear them to church.
So I decided this cake would be perfect for her.
I was right.....she loved it.

The next day was Jordan's turn. He also wanted to go to Jump Time,
with two friends. They ended up playing for over
2 hours, and could have played longer.
They had so much fun, and left a sweaty mess.

Jordan, being a sports lover, was easy to make a cake for.
He also wanted me to surprise him, so I went with basketball.
Right now, his favorite is Dwayne Wade.
He loved it!

I think it turned out pretty cute, myself.

He then wanted to come home and play playstation
until "really late".
They played for hours, and had a blast.

Our cute Birthday twins.
We love them so much.
Happy Birthday Ashley and Jordan!

Football and Cheer....

Jordan has been very excited for this season of football.
It's the first year of "tackle" football.
Ashley has wanted to be a cheerleader for some time now,
so we decided, what better time than now.
She gets to cheer for her own twin brother.

Nathan is helping to coach the team.
It's so fun to watch them all....

The very first practice game is called the Jamboree,
and is played on BSU's blue turf.
It's so fun for the kids.... and we WON!

That's Jordan on the far left
in the back....playing safety.

Ashley doing her cheers.....
And loving it.

You know, when people find out I have twins,
their first response is, "I always wanted twins",
then it's followed up with, "and I always wished it would be a boy and girl."
So I have to say...I am very grateful for our twins...
and that we were blessed to get a BOY and a GIRL!
They are so fun together......
We love them both!
GO MERIDIAN BLUE WARRIORS!!!

First day of school....

The kids were ready for school to start...
Especially Cody, now that he is
starting kindergarten.
Here he is....very happy...
with his best friend, Michael...who is in his class.

He was happy to go...
I only cried for about an hour......

All Cody wanted was a "Tron" backpack.
I couldn't find one anywhere, in the stores..
so I had to order one online.
It finally came in the mail when he
got home from his first day...
He LOVES it.

Walking to school.
This year, there is no bus for our kids,
so they have to walk.
Yes, that is me trailing behind.
Someday...I will let go....:)

Our cute kiddos....
First day of kindergarten....
First day of fourth grade.....
Man, they are growing too fast!

Reunion fun.....

This last weekend was my family's reunion.
There are 11 kids in my family and 10 of us
were able to make it, with
our families. There ended
up being about 60 people. My brother was the only
one not there, because he is serving in Iraq.
It was a bummer not having him with us.

It was at my parent's house. Their house is big and
the yard is huge and beautiful. We were all
outside most of the day, and slept in tents
at night. (We brought a tent trailer) :)
Here is a couple pics of my parent's yard,
which is right on the Snake River, in Idaho Falls.

My parents had everything you could think of.
Pool, bounce house, slip and slide, 4-wheelers,
movie theatre room, new covered patio, all kinds
of fun.

We love bounce houses!

Ashley hangin out with family.

Grandpa in the pool with some of the grandkids.

My cute sister-in-law, who made me an awesome anklet.
Then I learned how to make them, and
couldn't stop. Girls sat around making them all
weekend.

Here is a pic of my brother, Seth, who was not there.
So grateful for him and his willingness to serve our Country.
We love you Seth!
Yes, that is a full size cut out.... Haha

Jordan hanging out with his cousin. I think all
the kids were in their swim suits all weekend.

Some fun in the yard. It really was beautiful..

A few sisters chattin...

And a few brothers...being goofy.

Night time chatting.
My family is so loud, but oh, so fun!

Cody wouldn't leave the dog alone.
We would find him over in a corner just
petting and talking to her.
Sweet boy...

Then there was the "string bling". My aunt brought this
fun string to tie into your hair. Any color, and it
can last for months. The girls loved it.
Even I put some in along with my sisters and sis-in-laws.
So fun.

Cute huh?
Our Ashley was loving it.

Meals...we assigned everyone to different meals. This night,
my brother Matt and his wife made a cajun
style dinner. It had corn, potatoes, sausage, onion,
shrimp, lemon... all kinds of yummy stuff.
You cook then dump onto newspapers, then
dig in with your hands. It was so fun
and so yummy.
You ask my kids and this was one of their
favorite parts of the reunion.

Here is part of the "clan"

4-wheeling fun.

Smores...

We ended the last night with a "dance party".
It was so fun. Everyone was out dancing and sweating.
It went on for hours.

Our Cody was one of the ones that lasted the longest.
He was busting a move.

Some of my siblings showing off their moves. LOL

The reunion ended up being a success.
We are thinking of doing every year
cuz it was so much fun.
I love my family so much!
